Make sure your Antigen for Domino scan engines are fully updated to provide virus protection.
Sybari has seen certain cases of the virus's zip container being corrupted.
In Antigen 7 for Domino, use the following filters to delete/purge the virus attachment (File Filter) and/or entire message (Content Subject Line Filter), regardless of this corruption:
FILE [FILE NAME]: photos.zip [FILE TYPE]: All Types
FILE [FILE NAME]: readnow.zip [FILE TYPE]: All Types
------------------------
CONTENT [SUBJECT LINE]: *private photos*
CONTENT [SUBJECT LINE]: *don't be late!*
Please note that File Filtering on file name nor Content Filtering are available in Antigen 6.x for Domino and earlier versions.
Sybari recommends that customers upgrade to the latest Antigen 7 version to be able to incorporate the above functionality.
However for Antigen 6.x for Domino customer can block all zip files by using the following settings:
Go to NWALL Options:
Content Filtering :
Filter Attachments with Extensions :
Add: .zip
This will filter all zip files.
